Someone forgot to tell the weatherman it was summer!!

A week ago I was sitting in the same spot the photo is taken from and it was 41 degrees!!

A Brevet in Central Otago is not without it's challenges. Somewhere up there in the white stuff lies the Obelisk (and the course for the GSB2012).

A blast of Central Otago sun and it would be gone by afternoon tea which means most riders would be none the wiser. Problem is Ian is not most riders and he will get there before afternoon tea!

Do you think they will be struck by the beauty of the scene or the numbness of their toes?
