Day 3 Afternoon Txt Updates

Conditions on the Roaring Meg Pack Track were a contrast to the Nevis. Riders enjoyed the cool mountain air and sunshine. The exit of the Meg is a screaming descent down hairpins of loose gravel. What more could you ask for!

Leg 4.  Cromwell- good greasy burgers.  Riding was more a carry. Now I know why my Arrowtown mate looked sideways when I said we'll ride roaring meg!

Wanaka does not look like a quiet little town anymore. Think I'll get some food and keep going.
